The messaging was great about arrival, resort expectations, and getting the key/access to home. The home was comfortable with plenty of room for us (three people) and actually felt like a home with games, books, kitchen amenities. The AC and ceiling fans were great! There were bikes and paddle boards to use if we wanted. We didn't, but maybe would have if we had a longer stay!
There were some home maintenance issues that could be remedied easily with a plumber. The master shower had a slow drain and the other bathroom toilet seemed to be leaking as rug was always damp? The check out list was pretty normal for a VRBO, except it requested an EMPTY dishwasher (which means you have to plan to start it way before you plan to leave, and that is hard when you are trying to make breakfast, clean up, pack, and take out garbage on a timeline of a 10AM check out. Also, the notes said if there were an "excess of used towels" we would need to do laundry next door? That was confusing and a surprise. I don't think we used an excess of towels, but also we could have done a pre-load of towels in the washer but there was no laundry soap on site. Again, an easy remedy to fix!

The location was close to our event and key west.
The shower head in the guest bathroom could use an update.

The place is very nice and quiet.
The house had cockroaches. The towel and bed linen cleaning policy is unreliable. The Venture Out complex has major parking management issues for cars and boats, even when spaces are available.
