Great for the price

Close to the center, great kebab, lidl, aldi and rewe. Spatious

It was quite good, expect a few minor things

I liked the design and furniture of the flat, liked the flat being close to city center and just across the tram line. Heating was also working great.

I didn’t quite like the windows and curtains, because they were relatively seemed old and felt like they are about to break. And sometimes, the door handles in the apartment come loose.

Not perfect, but we had a very nice stay

Don't hesitate to book because of all the other reviews. It was good value for money. 1. The apartment was small but comfortable. It was enough for our 4 day stay. 2. The sheets seemed changed, and the toilet seemed clean as well. 3. It's true that it's on the 5th floor with no elevator but we didn't find it too hard to climb up and down the stairs. However, if you have any physical (leg) issues whatsoever you might want to consider the lack of an elevator. 4. The door of the apartment was not a major issue, although some people might not want to overlook it. Yes, the handle NEEDS TO BE FIXED because it was loose. However, thankfully, the lock worked just fine and we didn't get stuck or feel unsafe. 5. The location is great. Tram station right out of the door, some nice food spots, and a lot of coffee shops and kiosks around. It was just a 30 min walk to Dortmund Hbf, which we found quite enjoyable in good company. The neighbourhood seemed quiet and very safe. Are there things that could be improved? Definitely. When I read the other reviews I expected to find much worse. But for the low price we paid, compared to Booking prices in Germany overall, we were very satisfied. If you're travelling on a budget or if you're simply not very picky about your stay, I WOULD RECOMMEND.

1. It was 2 hours before checkin and we still hadn't received a message about how we were going to proceed, like promised by the host. I messaged them on Booking but received no response. So we just went to the apartment and rang the bell hoping someone would answer, and they did. They opened the door and a very nice woman welcomed us. There were some minor difficulties communicating because she couldn't speak English, but that wasn't an issue because she checked us in just fine. The check-in message arrived more than 1 hour after we had checked-in, which I didn't like. That's irresponsible. We received no info about the check-out as well until I messaged the host to ask them. Thank you to the nice lady who welcomed us, though! 2. The apartment was a bit smelly. It WAS NOT A BAD SMELL. More so like the smell of a humid apartment which isn't opened very often. We kept the windows open while inside since the weather was nice, so it didn't bother us. 3. The kitchen could use some improvement. I don't know the last time the dishes had been washed, but I assume it was a long time ago. They smelled like they had been in the cupboards for too long. We also found a dirty ashtray on the window sill. 4. The apartment had no hair and body wash, so make sure to bring your own.

Die Lage zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Von außen kaum Lärmbelästigung Einkaufsläden in der Nähe Das Schlafsofa Spülmaschine 😊 Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter.

Wohnung im 5. Stock. Ohne Aufzug! Lärmbelästigung im Hausflur nachts. Sehr laut! Sehr hellhörig! Bei Hitze außen, sehr warm. Türgriff der Haustür locker Griff am Kleiderschrank defekt
