The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a building, making it the highest apartment in the building. It measures 70 m² and features 1 bedroom with a double bed and 1 bunk bed, a large kitchen-living room with a double sofa bed and a pellet stove, a bathroom with a shower and heated floors, a very spacious entryway, and a separate toilet. Access to the sauna and use of the garden are included in the price. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances. The apartment can accommodate up to 6 people. Culture & Nature, 19th-Century Charm & Modern Comfort! In the heart of Reichenau an der Rax lies the Landhaus Blauer Spatz, built in the classic 19th-century villa style. The building underwent extensive renovation in 2015 and now offers 7 beautifully renovated vacation apartments ranging from 20 to 100 m², accommodating 1–6 people. There’s also a small but beautiful garden with fruit trees, berry bushes, a 30 m² wooden deck, a cozy outdoor sauna for up to 4 people, and an outdoor cold-water shower. A ski and bike storage room is also available. A cozy, dignified country house style runs through all the apartments, featuring furniture spanning three centuries. Not only are all apartments carpet-free, but you’ll mostly be walking on 120-year-old wooden floorboards. Plus, all the modern comforts: cozy bathtubs for two (not in all apartments), heated floors in the bathroom, free Wi-Fi throughout, ultra-flat-screen TVs with satellite connections (many of which are digital and thus streaming-capable), DVD players, and a selection of DVDs, etc. Pellet stoves in every apartment provide cozy warmth and a flickering fire at the touch of a button, even when the weather gets a bit cooler outside of winter. Payment is due in advance upon booking. You will receive a separate email regarding this. You can pay conveniently via bank transfer or PayPal. Since our apartment building has NO front desk, the keys will be left for you in a small key safe/box so that you can check in on your own after 2:00 PM. The key safe is located right next to the building’s front door. The CODE for the key safe will be sent to you by EMAIL no later than the day of your arrival. Check-in time: from 2:00 PM. Check-out time: by 10:00 AM. Extra bed linens and towels are always provided for the sofa bed. If more than 2 people are staying, you’ll need to make up the sofa bed yourself. A crib can be provided upon request for a fee of 20 EUR. A tourist tax of 4.70 EUR per person per night is already included in the price. The tourist tax includes a climate contribution of 1 EUR per guest per night. In exchange, you will receive the MobilitätsCard, which allows you to use the RUFbus for free.
