Welcome to the Honigtopf Vacation Home! The three lovingly furnished vacation apartments offer plenty of space for 3 to 5 people to enjoy a relaxing and well-deserved vacation in Neddesitz on the beautiful island of Rügen.
The Honigtopf vacation home features two adjacent vacation apartments named “Bernstein” and “Märchenwald,” each equipped with covered south-facing balconies. There is also the “Kranichnest” cottage, which features a covered terrace. The highlight is the magnificent garden property, which covers approximately 1,500 m² and offers cozy nooks as well as a shared barbecue area. Here you can truly relax and unwind.
The two vacation apartments, 01-Bernstein and 02-Märchenwald, can be combined if needed to create a wonderful vacation home for up to nine people.
For swimming during the warm season or pleasant walks, we recommend the fine-sand beach in Glowe (about 8.5 km away), where beach chairs are available and there is ample parking. This beach marks the southern end of the Schaabe, the longest beach on the island of Rügen, which stretches northward for about 15 kilometers all the way to Juliusruh.
The region around Neddesitz and Sagard is characterized by the breathtaking natural beauty of Jasmund National Park, where the imposing chalk cliffs rise up. But it’s not just the rock formations that are impressive—their history is fascinating as well. Here you can discover traces of Slavic settlement from the 9th century and immerse yourself in times gone by.
The area surrounding the Honigtopf vacation home on the Jasmund Peninsula offers numerous opportunities for an active and relaxing vacation. There are many hiking and biking trails through the picturesque landscape with magnificent views. In addition to the chalk cliffs and beech forests of Stubnitz, the area is also known for the nearby Chalk Museum and the “Kleiner Kreidefelsen” viewpoint—popular destinations for guests of all ages. There’s also a horse farm right near the vacation home, where horse lovers of all ages will find plenty to enjoy.
About 400 meters from the Honigtopf vacation home lies Splash Erlebniswelt, a highlight even on rainy days. It offers a variety of exciting activities and attractions for the whole family: The centerpiece is the huge water park with thrilling water slides, whitewater channels, and a wave pool to entertain visitors of all ages. In addition, Splash Erlebniswelt features a climbing wall, a high ropes course, a mini-golf course, and an indoor playground. If you’d like to relax, a spacious sauna area and a spa offering massages and treatments are at your disposal.
Sagard itself has a picturesque town center with historic half-timbered houses that offer a glimpse of how time has left its mark here. Another historical highlight is the Gothic St. Michael’s Church.
