The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to all the sites

The only room left available to me was a deluxe suite I was traveling solo and didn’t need that much room. The furnishings are very sparse Nothing deluxe except space
instead of looking like minimalist design. It just looked drab and boring
No frills no decorative touches at all
side tables and coffee table are completely empty. Could’ve used a few decorative touches such as a book. There was no pen or paper. No complimentary water for three days and I paid $180 a night. Bathroom was very tiny but adequate.
The outside of the building is attractive, but I thought the inside interior was nothing special breakfast is in the basement. They seem to cater to some tour groups and it doesn’t start till 8 AM and most of the tours in town start before that.
It is in a great location though and I don’t think you have a lot of choices for hotels in the old town

The room was fantastic with an extremely comfortable bed, quiet room, modern, clean. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The location was close to old town and restaurants, but far enough away to not have the noise. I would highly recommend.

It is located in the center, everything is close. It was recently renovated so it looked nice and clean.
If outside the hotel there are events, it is very noisy, you can hear everything from outside, it happened to us as well as during our stay it was a children event exactly in front of the hotel, from 10am-8pm, with very loud music and noise.

The room feels familiar, there is a nice view to ARO hotel and it is silent despite being very close to the centre.
The breakfast is the usual continental hotel breakfast.
There are some nice drawings of the city around in the hotel.
Unfortunately, our departure experience was very disappointing. We asked reception to order a taxi because we did not know the local taxi companies. It was raining heavily, my mother has difficulty walking, and I am still not allowed to carry luggage normally after a wrist fracture. Since the hotel is in the pedestrian zone, I waited with our luggage near the barrier.
The taxi arrived without any clear identification, and the driver was unfriendly from the beginning. Although I explained that we needed the bus station, at Strada Gării 1, she insisted on following only the pin and said the application did not accept street numbers. Even when we were close and I asked her to turn right towards the bus station, she parked on the other side of the railway station. I then had to carry our two suitcases in several stages, one at a time, asking strangers to watch the other one.
The driver also did not help with the luggage and, when I paid cash, said she had no change, so the difference became an involuntary tip. Altogether, it was a very unpleasant experience, especially for travellers with reduced mobility.
The hotel itself is also not well adapted for people with mobility difficulties: there are several steps at the entrance and no ramp.
Brașov is often recommended for a city break, but compared with our visit two and a half years ago it has become surprisingly expensive, while basic services such as this taxi transfer were disappointing.
