5 min to train station, big apartment
No safe in this apartment so we needed to carry our laptops to Venice, imo safe is necessary because entry to the building kinda occupied by strange people

The apartment was super spacious. Having a washing machine was a huge bonus while travelling around Italy, as it made doing laundry so much easier. The location was also very convenient, close to the train station, with Venice just one stop away.
Unfortunately, there were a few things that affected our stay. The neighbourhood felt a little uncomfortable, and while we were entering the door code, several people on the street were staring at us, which made us feel uneasy.
There was construction work happening on the balcony that we were not informed about beforehand, and workers were walking up and down outside. The shutters in the living room could not be closed, meaning there was very little privacy and we could easily make eye contact with people outside.
Lastly, as we were waiting for the elevator to check out, the host was already trying to enter the apartment around five minutes before the official checkout time. This felt a little rushed and uncomfortable.
