The view was excellent. The house was big . The elevator was good, not too many people. The lobby security was good. It was a quick walk to Dubai mall.
I am writing to share my experience regarding a recent stay, which was deeply disappointing and far below the standard expected from a property listed on your platform.
Despite the listing clearly stating that the apartment was fully equipped, we encountered numerous issues that significantly affected the quality and comfort of our three-week stay. Most notably, the dishwasher was non-functional from the moment we arrived, with stagnant water collected inside and leaking onto the floor. This created unhealthy and unpleasant conditions, including odors, and forced us to wash all dishes by hand throughout our stay.
Additionally, the property suffered from several other serious maintenance problems:
The kitchen and bathroom sinks were both clogged, requiring multiple service calls.
The water heater in the master bedroom did not function properly, forcing us to run the water for over 15 minutes before it became even slightly warm.
The sofa was completely broken, making it unusable and uncomfortable, I even began experiencing back pain as a result.
The sliding door produced loud noises whenever opened or closed.
The bed linens were old, worn, and full of holes.
While the host did respond by sending a technician to address the clogged sinks and water heater, the technician stated he did not have the authority to repair or replace the dishwasher. Furthermore, the sofa, one of the most essential pieces of furniture, was never repaired or replaced.
It is my sincere belief that, although the property has potential, the owner is neglecting necessary maintenance and prioritizing rental income over guest experience, safety, and hygiene.
