The James Hotel

Breakfast was very nice , staff were friendly and helpful , parking was a bit of a hassle but we got sorted there . Overall we were very happy .

There was a red stain on the bed , was makeup, 💄 I said it to a staff member cleaning nearby and she sorted it there and then , very happy with that .

It was very comfortable and a lovely temperature.

Loved the location, the decor and above all else, the people. The girl on reception was really friendly and helpful with lots of suggestions and the owner (I'm guessing) was the nicest guy and offered us complimentary coffee/breakfast on our final morning since I had booked multiple rooms for a group - the gesture was much appreciated and the Irish hospitality goes a long way. The hotel is in the perfect location with everything within walking distance, lots of good coffee spots and shops nearby and the hotel had live music in the bar on Saturday night. The views from the suite are beautiful over the town - I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Pillows were a bit hard for my personal liking but that was quickly rectified by the hotel staff who swapped them out for softer pillows.

Rooms were good.

Very unsatisfactory arrangements regarding breakfast. The continental breakfast was inadequate for e7.50 and the full breakfast was too expensive at e17.50. Also, a normal hotel practice is to provide breakfast for its guests seven days a week. Not shut down on odd days.
