Property does not meet basic standards

Proximity to the beach

Overall: Not suitable for a comfortable stay, below basic standards for cleanliness, major issues with maintenance, poorly equipped and unresponsive host. This property did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness, functionality, or communication. Based on our experience, we would not choose to stay here again. Check-in & communication: We were informed that check-in instructions would be sent shortly before arrival, but they were not provided on time. We waited outside while attempting to contact the host, who did not respond to calls. Only shortly before the stated check-in time did we receive a brief reply. Communication remained limited and unhelpful throughout the stay. Condition on arrival: The unit had a strong musty smell upon entry, suggesting it had been closed for an extended period. The floor was visibly dirty, with dust, leaves, and debris present. It did not appear to have been cleaned in preparation for our arrival. We had to ventilate and sweep the space ourselves. A cleaning person arrived several hours later and stated the property had been cleaned days earlier rather than the same day. She offered to vacuum the room. This does not meet expected turnover standards for guest accommodation. Bedding & hygiene concerns: The bedding did not appear freshly laundered. There were visible stains on one pillow, and the extra blankets stored in the closet were all covered in pet hair. A request for clean replacements was not answered. Host remained unresponsive for several days. Kitchen facilities: The kitchen cannot reasonably be described as “fully equipped.” Basic items were missing, including a cutting board, functional knives, dish rack, dish towel, toaster, coffee maker, and scissors. The cookware provided was old and heavily worn. Pantry items were either missing or unusable (e.g., salt affected by humidity, tea bags covered in mould). The space is not adequate for preparing meals.

Expensive for such a cheap place

The proximity to the beach

Terrible value for money, extremely expensive for what it actually was the place. It’s basically a dependance that has no airflow so we had to keep the ac running as well as the room door open to breathe easy. We also rented end of April and the place is not for windy or cold weather as it was extremely humid and there was only a table to eat outside because of the room being such a small space. We were always cold and the place is not well isolated. Overall we were uncomfortable which for 1065€ for 10 days is a real shame. To be paying so much for a place where you barely can stay or sleep, we made it work because it was non refundable. I write this review cause I am tired of people renting out as if it was a five star place a hole that is not livable, I bet the owners that lived next door in a villa would never sleep in the place they are renting out and making money out of.
