Royal desert camp

We would love to leave our comments regarding our stay in Royal desert camp for one night( we had to but we would’ve loved to stay more) from the 24th till the 25th of October 2026. We had an appointment at the meeting point sent in advance by Ghassan the owner, a very friendly guy with the traditional Omani dress showed up on Time he helped us adjusting the tire pressure for ou rental 4x4, on my request, we followed him it was a pleasure driving in the dunes at 70km/h 😂 The camp was very clean, eco friendly non trash in the area, very clean rooms 1m or more higher than the ground, bathroom was very clean no bad surprises at all. Arsalan is the Pakistani guy very respectful, helpful always smiling and speaks good English. We wanted to go in the desert at night, Ghassan called us to check on us and if everything was OK and he gave us some tips for the desert. They arranged a desert escape to see the sunset it was just amazing. A fresh traditional breakfast was served in a very nice bedouin tent, they are investing in domes unfortunately they were not ready when we was there, all the major works were done, they were only expecting the doors to come, the domes were in the top of a hill with a breathtaking view. Our stay was just wonderful in this camp we strongly recommend it .

This desert camp offers excellent value for money. The grounds are clean and well-maintained, and there’s even a rocking chair where you can gaze up at the starry sky. The owner is incredibly accommodating, treating you like an old friend as he takes you on adventures through the desert and introduces you to local specialties. They’ve got a full range of activities too—sand bashing, watching sunrises and sunsets, driving off-road vehicles, and more. Dinner at the camp was so hearty I almost couldn’t finish it, haha!

Séjour très reposant, ils proposent pas mal d’activités. Personnel à l’écoute et arrangeant ! Le dîner était très riche en propositions et pour le petit dej c’était sympa de le découvrir à la façon omanaise.

Très nature

La nuit a été ponctuée de passage d avion toutes les minutes. J ai du mettre des boule-quies. Une petite bouteille d eau aurait été appréciée dans la tente.
