Als je op zoek bent naar bedwantsen en ellende, zit je hier goed!

Blijf hier weg! Onveilig, onverantwoord en traumatisch ervaring! Wij arriveerden bij dit appartement met drie jonge kinderen en troffen een regelrechte nachtmerrie aan. Het was smerig, overal lagen haren, het beddengoed zat vol vlekken en er krioelden bedwantsen in de bed. Hier overnachten was onmogelijk, zeker met kinderen. Ik probeerde direct de sleutelhouder te bellen, maar die nam niet op. De eigenaar kreeg van mij foto’s en de uitleg dat het appartement onbewoonbaar was en dat ik naar elders moet; zijn enige reactie luidde: “Ok, no problem.” Er werd geen enkele oplossing geboden. Na ruim een half uur bellen met Booking.com en foto’s te hebben gestuurd naar hen was hun advies boek een hotel. Zo stonden we pas om drie uur ’s nachts met drie overstuurde kinderen in een ander hotel. De eerste vakantie avond was volledig verloren; de volgende dag moesten we bijkomen en alles opnieuw organiseren. De dag erna kreeg ik alsnog contact met de man die de sleutel had overhandigd. Hij bood zijn excuses aan en zei letterlijk zei dat de eigenaar “alleen maar om het geld geeft” en mensen heeft ingehuurd die het appartement totaal niet goed onderhouden. Dit zegt alles over hoe dit verblijf wordt gerund. Alle bewijsstukken foto’s heb ik naar zowel de eigenaar als Booking.com gestuurd. Toch weigeren beiden verantwoordelijkheid te nemen. Booking.com stuurde me, ondanks mijn Genius Level 3-status en jarenlange boekingsgeschiedenis, een ontoereikend Wallet-tegoed van €35,64, terwijl ik €390 extra heb moeten betalen aan hotels, telefoonkosten. Dit appartement hoort niet op Booking.com thuis. Het is onveilig, smerig en wordt beheerd door mensen die geen enkele verantwoordelijkheid nemen. Bovendien laat Booking.com je als klant volledig in de steek zodra het misgaat. Boek dit absoluut niet. De paar foto’s die ik kon uploaden zeggen al genoeg – de video’s zouden je direct doen besluiten rechtsomkeert te maken.

La propreté. Il y avait des taches partout sur les murs et même une tache de sang dans la salle de bain. Et le pire c’était les draps sales. J’en ai fait part aux propriétaires au début du séjour et je n’ai eu droit qu’à des excuses.
