Farm Stay in Salzburgerland

About this farm stay rental
Wrapped tightly in a white coat, nature is in hibernation. And so, the quiet season begins on the farm. Here in the Seidlwinkltal valley, Frau Holle always lets a little more snow fall, and we can enjoy winter to the fullest.
Behind the house, we have a hill—a true children’s paradise, perfect for whizzing down on a sled, a snow slide, a “Zipfelbob,” or even just a simple plastic bag. Together, we take the time to enjoy the wonderful winter. A daily walk in the wonderfully fresh air, or maybe a quick snowman? We also love spending time at our local ski area, the Rauriser Hochalmbahnen. It’s an unbeatable family ski area—not too big, easy to navigate, yet offering a variety of runs for all skill levels. We especially appreciate the short wait times at the lift and plenty of space on the slopes.
Of course, the children can also help feed the animals in the winter—it’s barn time in the late afternoon.
Starting in the winter of 2023/24, you can relax in our Swiss stone pine sauna, which is available for a fee.
A hike in Kolm Saigurn, our valley head at the foot of the 3,000-meter peaks, is an absolute must. Take the toboggan uphill along the romantic Knappenweg; at the top, you can simply enjoy the panoramic view and feel as if you’ve been transported to another world—and then, ... you’ll sled back down the road—it’s a blast. If hiking isn’t your thing, you can also take a snowmobile up the mountain lassen. Ja, and there’s so much more to discover—but we’ll tell you all about that when you’re here. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and check-out from 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
