Clean and very comfortable

Good location, close the the beach, town centre , restaurants and pubs.
The apartment needs a thorough cleaning. There is mould on the windows and in the kitchen, and the hob and freezer are dirty and need proper cleaning.
The windows in the main bedroom do not close properly, which made the room very cold.
The balcony also needs proper maintenance and attention.
Some light bulbs need replacing .
Overall, the apartment would benefit from a deep clean and some necessary repairs to make it comfortable and suitable for guests.

+ fast direkt am Meer und nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß bis zur Innenstadt
+ sehr geräumige Wohnung
+ tolle Terasse mit Meerblick
- abgenutzte Wohnung, insgesamt an vielen Stellen wartungsbedürftig (positiv war dabei jedoch, dass die Ansprechpartnerin der Ferienwohnung von sich aus geschrieben hat und angeboten hat, die ihr durch den Vormieter bekannt gewordenen Mängel noch während des Aufenthalts zu beheben)
- wir sind bei vergleichbaren Unterkünften gewohnt, eine sauberere Unterkunft vorzufinden
- der Rest des Hauses, insbesondere der Hausflur, war sehr dreckig
- Lage befindet sich im sanierungsbedürftigeren Teil Eastbournes. Auf der anderen Seite des Piers empfanden wir es als deutlich schöner und gepflegter
- Ausstattung könnte passender sein (eine Spülmaschine wäre sinnvoll, eine zweite Pfanne bei vier Personen ebenfalls)

Size of apartment, location for exploring Eastbourne, well equipped, comfortable.
When you look closer everything needs a really good dust and clean. The blinds are dusty and windows filthy. Fridge freezer needs a deep clean. Dishwasher didn’t clean items properly. Big slug problem on the balcony and they were getting into the bedrooms, I don’t think anything could actually be done about this though other than blocking wherever they were getting in. For the money we paid I would have expected the apartment to be in a cleaner condition.
