I had a really peaceful and pleasant stay at Barefoot Hostels in Varkala. What made the experience special was the calm atmosphere, the cozy vibe, and the opportunity to meet some genuinely good people along the way.
The host was super cool, friendly, and helpful. He also recommended some genuine and trustworthy places for water activities, which made planning our experiences much easier and more comfortable.
I especially loved the vibe of the common areas, with cozy music playing in the background, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, unwind, connect with people, or simply enjoy your own company without feeling rushed.

Room was good and well maintained.
We had to fight a cockroach for 5 minutes, we expect from the kitchen, as that was probably not clean.
