Nice location for beach

Patio nice. Location good. Parking great.

Instructions for location of lock box vague. Instructions for trash confusing. Showers backed up and very small. Toilet in main bathroom difficult to flush. Washing machine needed instructions to operate.

Unpleasant

Fabio was nice and responsive. The ice cream shop is great. The beach is very close. Parking in the big yard.

The place is a very noisy heat and moisture trap. Staying in there during a heat wave was a torture. There is no air-conditioning, the windows are not insulated, and the only way to cool off the rooms is to open the windows/doors. When you do that, a wall of noise assails your hearing senses - ambulances, high pitched motor bikes, cars and loud people - 24/7. The beach may be 5 minutes walk however the main road is 2 meters away from the property edge. Pay attention to the "vintage" in the description. In this case it means old and musty. Things are coming apart, and the remodeling is a band-aid when surgery is needed. On the first day, as we were walking through the building main door, a young man ran through it and assaulted two women on the steps of the floor above. Based on the sounds of people being hit and the screaming it seemed they were in big trouble. The host said he called the carabinieri however no one came and the women left the building crying... This happened only once, and nothing similar repeated, however it was very unsettling to happen within the first hour of our arrival. The washing machine is a joke - hand washing would do better job...

La vicinanza al mare

L’esperienza complessiva si è rivelata profondamente deludente. L’appartamento si trova in una traversa della via Aurelia e consente di raggiungere il mare in pochi minuti a piedi, tuttavia, questo aspetto non è sufficiente a compensare le numerose criticità riscontrate. L’accesso alla proprietà risulta scomodo e poco pratico, il cancello, non automatizzato, si apre su uno spazio estremamente ristretto che rende difficoltosa persino la discesa dall’auto. Anche le aree esterne appaiono trascurate e prive di manutenzione, con arredi arrugginiti, vegetazione incolta e una sensazione di abbandono che le rende di fatto inutilizzabili. All’interno si presenta in condizioni inaccettabili. Gli ambienti risultano sporchi, impregnati di odori sgradevoli e arredati con mobili deteriorati e danneggiati. I letti sono scomodi, gli armadi emanano un persistente odore di chiuso e trascuratezza. La cucina evidenzia uno stato igienico decisamente insufficiente: stoviglie e utensili si presentano unti e non adeguatamente puliti, mentre la presenza diffusa di formiche, provenienti da mobili, tubature e interstizi, compromette ulteriormente la vivibilità degli spazi. Il bagno, estremamente angusto, risulta poco funzionale, la doccia è stretta e il soffione, ostruito dal calcare, eroga un getto d’acqua quasi inesistente. Anche qui si riscontra la presenza di molte formiche, mentre la finestra non può essere utilizzata per mancanza di privacy. Le immagini presenti nell’annuncio risultano fuorvianti, restituendo una percezione degli spazi più ampia e ordinata rispetto alla realtà, che appare invece trascurata e ben lontana dagli standard minimi di accoglienza. Si tratta di una sistemazione che evidenzia gravi carenze sotto il profilo della pulizia, della manutenzione e della cura degli ambienti. Un soggiorno che non ha soddisfatto le aspettative e che alla luce dell’esperienza vissuta, non può essere consigliato.
