After our Boracay getaway, we headed to my hometown, Kalibo, where I was excited to show my uncle from France the beauty of the place I call home. After our island adventure, all I wanted was a cozy, homey place where we could unwind. I found LQJ Hotel in Old Buswang through Booking.com, and what followed was a five-day stay that turned out to be more memorable than I expected.
Our room gave us a comfortable place to rest, but it was the people who truly made the experience special. Everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and accommodating. Honestly, I never wanted to leave! 😂 I found myself having conversations with the staff and owners every single day, and those simple interactions became some of my favorite memories of our stay.
And the breakfast? Their Hungarian sausage paired with a cappuccino or latte became my favorite combination!
Not a single thing! I genuinely enjoyed my stay. Of course, there's always room for growth and improvement, and I'd love to see how the property continues to evolve and experience even more wonderful things on my next visit. ❤️

Good place to stop on our way to Boracay.
It was comfortable. The staff were extremely accommodating and very helpful.

The room is dark enough, that my jet lag brain can sleep through. It didn't help that i have online work. But the staff was ok. Overall, i have no complain.
Customer Service can be improve, but otherwise they're ok in general.
