Poor!!!

The blanket on the bed and towels smelled dirty, we found a beer cap. I’ve never heard of a cleaning fee of R800 that’s ridiculous. The room has a musty smell that didn’t go away even with the aircon. The location was not clear and there seems to be issues with the main hotel service and the suite service.

Unhappy

The place is nice and comfortable

I slept in the dark my apartment didn't have any electricity when I checked in and my 2 night booked and the worst it's a self catering apartment

Torturous & Horrible.

Zimbali overall is a lovely place. The amenities are perfect.

The unit itself ?unit 2009j is privately managed but falsely advertised as a unit that is part of the hotel. No cleaning service during your stay No toilet paper refill No bin removal No aircon Damp and mould smell in the whole unit The experience was too horrible for words. Good day Propr consultants, We would like to tabulate how disappointed we are at the following: 1. Propr disguising to be The Capital when they know that the unit is privately owned and managed. 2. The improper communication. We were told the key was going to be hamded to the concierge who was going to meet us at the property. I had to run up and down looking for the concierge. The key in between calls that I had to make. How horrible is this after a 7hour drive? 3. Eventually had to be told after sitting for long minutes on the call that the key was in the box by door. 4. Had to struggle to even work out how that box works until your cleaner who was in the unit next door came to help. Luckily she was close by, otherwise it would have meant another call to you again. 5. Finally got into a unit that smelled very stuffy, mould and damp smell. 6. That smell was so horrible I even struggle to sleep and breath since I am asthmatic. Worse no working aircon contrary to your ad that you stole directly from The Capital Hotel. What a torture, a holiday gone wrong at all levels. 7. As if that was not enough, electricity went off the very first night we were there. Had to make another call to you. Waited for you to make a call to reception. We were even lied to and told it could be the whole floor. No there was electricity on the passageway. Yesterday the 26th electricity went off again. Had to call you again. We went to reception and discovered that this is a common problem with this unit. Which you know about and are doing nothing to solve it: what’s worse other units had electricity.

Great location and food. Perfect for a romantic stay

The breakfast was amazing - great variety.

Finding my room was incredibly challenging. We drove around and struggled for our booking to be found. That was a huge inconvenience considering we arrived in Zimbali quite late

The view , spacious room.

It wasn’t communicated that we were staying on private property. One of the staff was extremely rude . We paid for cleaning but no came to clean up or do our bed.
