I had a wonderful stay at Seaford Country House in Salt Rock. Its a beautiful place with well-decorated rooms, very pretty gardens and great hospitality. And delicious breakfasts, sitting on the deck under the gorgeous trees. The food was served on pretty pottery dishes and table clothes. Loved the soul of Seaford. Thanks very much Gill, Trevor, Brad and team.

There was much to love. The hostess was incredible. It was easy to see why she had been complimented by so many people. Caring, interested, engaged. Here staff were equally good. The venue was also beautiful, old school home with a rich sense of history about it.
Unfortunately, we found that the pool was under construction on arrival. I understand why we weren't informed prior to our visit but it still felt a little unfair. Added to this were the construction noises that were "part of the deal". Unfortunate ... I love peace and quiet on a weekend away. Internet was "iffy" at first but our hostess offered and alternative which worked well.
