We stayed as a family of four. The rooms are quite small, but function well as a base and a comfortable place to sleep if you plan on going out exploring most of the day. The property was clean and well maintained, beds comfy. Location is excellent for seeing the sites of Kyoto by foot.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Amenities always available outside the room, laundry was right next to our room (201), and the staff was very helpful with all our questions. Note our room Q30 was really big for Japan standards. Appreciated the space after a long day. Thank you for a great stay!
