Our name really says it all. We’re a very cozy place where you’ll want to stay. To unwind and recharge. To find time and take time. For life, for your loved ones, and for yourself. In a picturesque location near Traunstein, with a view of the Chiemgau Alps and the famous Ettendorf Chapel, our newly built vacation home awaits you with four unique apartments. Built as if it were our own home. Furnished with solid wood, high-quality natural stone, and warm fabrics. Equipped with everything you need for a vacation at your own pace. Of course, there’s also a balcony or terrace, with an unobstructed view of the idyllic little church. Pets are allowed only in the Liesl vacation apartment.
Step inside and experience the unique atmosphere of reclaimed wood, steel, and natural greenery. Our Ludwig apartment is a wonderful blend of tradition and modernity. It features two separate bedrooms, a kitchen-diner with a terrace, and is wheelchair-accessible.
The Chiemgau is an ideal starting point for numerous excursions in the surrounding area. In addition to a vibrant mix of modern lifestyle offerings, the region also offers authentic Bavarian culture. Explore well-known sights or the countryside on a bike ride. Hardly anything epitomizes the region as much as the surrounding mountain landscape. In addition to well-marked hiking trails, some of the peaks can also be reached by gondola. Take advantage of the nearby swimming lakes, such as Lake Chiemsee, Lake Tüttensee, or Lake Waginger. The destination offers guests a variety of experiences as well as a relaxing time to escape the daily grind.
We are one big family, and we truly embody this wonderful sense of togetherness. The Heimelei is our labor of love. Together, we planned, built sustainably and energy-efficiently, and designed and furnished the garden. Yoga is the personal—and now also professional—passion of our host, mom, and grandma, Christine. Her connection to nature, her sense of balance, and her gift for seeing greatness in the little things create a calm, restful atmosphere. Our cows live a few hundred meters away in their new, comfortable barn. You’ll spot them on a walk. We live next door in the farmhouse and are happy to help if you have any questions or requests.
