AC not on when arrived so it took all night cooling the rental down. Didn't help, we were uncomfortable and sweating all night. There were no wash cloths and ONLY 2 towels and 2 hand towels for 2 people over the span of a week. We had nothing to wash ourselves with and only 2 towels to dry ourselves with (they were stiff & hard). With there being no laundry facilities, I'd think we'd be compensated with enough basic items. Or atleast 1. Not sure who this neighbor is, but can hear them clearly, woke me up plenty of times multiple nights/mornings during my stay. It must be the reason for the provided earplugs. After dealing with so much only a couple hours after checking in I wished I just reserved a hotel. Paid way too much. Bummer because the host was amazing in terms of communication and flexibility. Last day, I realized the ceiling was leaking water while I was packing & created a puddle on the kitchen floor. Seems to be a hole in the ceiling. I'm not sure how or why this is a 9.1 rated property. More like a 7.
Like other reviews ... we had issues with bugs. The "black out" curtains don't block much. Sun enters room with no problem early in the morning. The neighbors were so bad I just gave up sleeping at a certain point throughout the night. Location is great & host was amazing but the actual rental could be better. Had some inconveniences in it. Lets just say, if I went back i wouldn't stay here but for some reason if I HAD to stay here .... I'd be mildly irritated.
