We loved our stay, it was comfortable and spacious with everything we needed.
The main issue for us was the location of the key collection. I hadn’t appreciated when booking that the lockbox was a reasonable distance from the accommodation, and we may have chosen somewhere else had this been clearer. After a significantly delayed flight, we had an almost 2 km walk from the train station to collect the keys and then get to the accommodation, late at night with our luggage and an exhausted 3-year-old.
The accommodation itself would also benefit from some attention to the basics. Both shower drains were broken, there was no dishcloth or facecloths, the tea towel wasn’t really usable, there weren’t hand towels for the bathrooms, and the second bathroom could do with its own soap dispenser. The kitchen sink plug also needs replacing, something that appears to have been raised in previous reviews for over a year. Both toilet roll holders also need tightening, as the rolls fell off whenever we used them.

The car parking was not good, extremely tight.
Was dirty in areas, needs a good spring clean.

Close to Sylvia Park, ellerslie and motorway.
Top floor, level 12 give nice views over motorway in foreground and panmure/mt Wellington in distance.
Washing machine and dryer.
Gym (belongs to hotel, open 6am to 10pm, level 1).
Parking on-site private and covered.
Very warm apartment given nice exposure to sun and big windows, grateful for the AC to cool apt. But loved the sun pouring in morning.
Poor communication around check in eith multiple (what is assume to be) automated emails asking for copies of passport, licence and credit card before check in details provided.
Even despite providing had to call (not answered) and text to get a response. I was relieved and grateful when I did receive response but a paying guest should not have to chase for explanations.
The apartment was simple tidy and a good base for us. The beds were comfy. Bathrooms without hand towels, one bathroom.had hand soap the other nil. 1 towel each is standard. Kitchen nice, random leftover food in cupboards, paper plates on over counter cupboards. Basic kmart brand dishes in pantry, low cost cleaning and soap products provided.
Their last mintue messaged information for the apartment states gym is on level 2. Infact it is on level 1 which we only found out after a building resident informed us, when trying multiple times to get to level 2. I have suggested they update their information to accurately reflect where the facilities of the building actually are.
If looking for cheap but comfortable basic stay, this would be your place.
