The staff is friendly and this villa served its purpose of being a one-night stopover for us while we were in town for a family reunion.
Transportation can be tricky. There is a sign that indicates that Grab pickup and dropoffs are not allowed on the street. I'm not certain who put the sign up and who is legally allowed to enforce this. We didn't see the sign so when the front desk recommended that we book a taxi through Grab to transport us to the Sanur Ferries, we didn't think anything of it. When the Grab arrived, three men sitting outside the villa confronted our Grab driver and told us that we needed to use them for taxi service or otherwise, walk down the street (they pointed towards the main thoroughfare and the language barrier made it frustrating to understand how far we needed to walk with all our luggage).

John and the staff were amazing, the rooms in the villa were spotless, very large and huge bed comfortable and for the price - outstanding. John is developing a roof top bar and yoga studio, it’s going to be beautiful. Breakfast was freshly cooked and the evening meal was lovely. It is located on a small road with a great bar called Locas at the end on the beach, fantastic place to spend sunset and the evening. In addition there is the komune hotel and beach club virtually opposite moonlight villa. The Komune beach club was brilliant with just a min spend of 200k each you get 2 Sun loungers, you can hire towels at 50k and the food and drinks were very reasonable. It has a huge infinity pool and fab eating areas, well worth the money. We also did the wine tasting at Sababay which was pretty good and an exciting day out at the marine safari and Varuna underwater show.
Nothing really. They have shower curtains, but when talking to John the intention to to swap them out for screens.
