Very beautiful apartment in a fun part of Padova with lots of ethnic food possibilities. Easy check-in, excellent place if you are planning on taking the boat to Venice.
Unfortunately my friend got sick with the flu and found the place to be a bit thin-walled. But under normal circumstances, this would not be a problem.

The apartment is very cozy, clean and well done all in all. There are so many lovely details in the apartment, like antique furniture, beautiful rugs and the many little signs with helpful information and other things you need to know about the apartment. It's located right at Porta Portello, a university district, so you will always see (and sometimes also hear) students on the street in front of the building. It makes for a great atmosphere! There's a supermarket very close by and you can walk to the city center in 20-30 minutes (you could also take a bus but we preferred to walk).
Just a small thing: the apartments offers a small "kitchen" and has the most essential things. However, it doesn't have it's own sink (there's a portable sink that you can use).

The area is by the University and is vibrant with students. Food and drink are very cheap and cafes, shops and restaurants are on the doorstep. Padua is a fantastic city and we will return. The apartment in a 15th century building has been meticulously renovated and a joy to stay in. It's comfortable and spotless. The owners take feedback seriously. The communication and helpful instructions posted around the flat are thoughtful. It's a unique place and we highly recommend it.
We obviously missed the fact that the kitchen area was small with no sink. With an ancient building a sink would be difficult so the owners offer to wash dirty dishes which was appreciated.

Leute sehr nett, Essen guenstig.
Die stadt ist selbst fuer italienische Verhaeltnisse sehr heruntergekommen und dreckig.
