We had a wonderful stay at Orchidia Apartment in Bari! The apartment is very well equipped, and if you’re travelling with a child, you’ll find everything you need to feel comfortable and at home.
The host, Jole, has clearly paid attention to every detail. There are toys for children, a toilet seat adapter, and a fully equipped kitchen with basic essentials such as salt, pepper, and oil. If you’re visiting in summer, you’ll also find beach essentials, including an umbrella, beach towels, toys, and a sand cover—such a thoughtful touch.
The location is excellent, with easy access to the Murat area, Bari Vecchia, and Bari Centrale. This makes it convenient both for exploring the city and for travelling to nearby destinations.
Jole was incredibly helpful, responsive, and available whenever we had questions, which made our stay even more enjoyable. She also kindly allowed us to check in later for an additional fee and let us leave our backpacks at the apartment on our last day at no extra cost. These thoughtful arrangements made our travel plans much easier and more convenient.
The only small thing we missed was having slippers provided, but considering how comfortable the apartment was, how many thoughtful extras were available, and how great our overall experience was, this is hardly a downside.
We highly recommend Orchidia Apartment, especially for families travelling with young children. We would happily stay here again!

Excelent location, 15 mins to the beach, 15 mins to the old town. Decent size supermarket is 5 mins away. Place has everything what you might need and even more. There is a small garden where you can drink morning coffee. Very clean, shower woks perfect, AC works perfect, beds are comfortable - we spent a week there. Jole's communication is 10+! Ready to help with train schedules, places to eat, taxi, etc. Leaving very early was not a problem. Would come back again!
All was perfect, I can't add anything.

I really liked Jole – she was very communicative and gave us clear directions for everything. She provided a baby crib and an iron, which I really needed. The apartment was average.
For us, the location was quite far from the center, around 2 km. With small children, it was really challenging, especially since after 8:00 PM everything is closed. If you need anything, there’s nowhere nearby to buy it, and walking 2 km isn’t easy. In the city center, you can easily find places that are open.
We also rented a car, which is the best option, but finding a parking spot is like winning the lottery 😂 So for us, the location wasn’t ideal.
