Do Not Stay Here. Book A Hotel Instead.
There was nothing I liked about this property. As a real estate professional, it was atrocious. Please see my full review below in the next section. You will find the link to the photos taken of the property here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/DPGRZdsBJEp4yDK99
This is what I sent to Evolve via Booking.com when we arrived to the property: "I booked a stay at Sunny Turlock Cottage Walk to Downtown! through Booking.com with host Mr. Satnam Singh on February 14 for the dates March 10–March 14.
When my family and I arrived at the property this evening, we were extremely disappointed with the overall condition of the home. The property did not meet reasonable cleanliness or maintenance expectations, especially considering the $772.81 that was paid in advance.
Upon entering the property, we observed the following issues:
Multiple holes and dents in the walls
Strong and unpleasant odors throughout the home
Lack of cleanliness and general signs of poor maintenance
Overall appearance that did not match the expected standard for a short-term rental
Because of these conditions, we did not feel comfortable staying in the property.
At 10:49 PM on March 10th 2026, I contacted Evolve to report the issue and request assistance, but no one answered the phone. I then called Mr. Singh at 10:52 PM to inform him of our concerns and that we would be checking out tomorrow and requesting a refund due to the condition of the property.
Given the circumstances, I am requesting a full refund of the $772.81 paid for this reservation. The property’s condition did not meet acceptable standards for a guest stay.
Please let me know the next steps to process this refund. I am happy to provide photos documenting the condition of the property if needed."
