So wrote Nicolas Bouvier about travel… Right here in Cisternino, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, it will be a delight to get lost among the whitewashed, ornate streets, amid the scents and flavors of a bygone era… it will be a delight to discover the breathtaking views of the Itria Valley and let yourself be pampered by experiences suitable for the whole family…
The property is located near the historic center, and finding trulli situated within the town limits is practically a rarity… this is because, in the past, the area where the house stands was the town’s outermost rural periphery… Over time, as the town expanded, it eventually incorporated these rural structures, making them even more unique and special. The trullo is in a particularly convenient location, just a short walk from the historic center—less than a 5-minute walk away.
The apartment features 2 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and stovetop, and 1 bathroom with a bidet. Towels and bed linens are provided in the apartment. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
By car, you can easily visit other beautiful villages in the Itria Valley, such as Locorotondo and Martina Franca, which are about 15 minutes away, and Alberobello, which is a little further (about 20 minutes). The nearest beach, on the Adriatic coast, is about a 20-minute drive away.
The municipality requires payment of a tourist tax of €2.00 per night per person, payable on site, for up to a maximum of 7 nights. Children under 12 are exempt from this fee.
