Stressful and upsetting. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

good location for Kew Gardens.

The large stain on the bedroom floor which was just a few inches away from the burn mark made by an iron. But these were nothing compared to the fact that there was no key to the entrance door to the flat. Seb informed us about the issue around 4.15pm. Apparently, the previous guest had not left the key. Not quite sure how we were expected to entre the property with no key!. Plus, the property had been cleaned, so I don't know how the cleaner had managed to access the property with no key. We were told that the maintenance guy had a key, but he would have to get a spare one cut. It's a while since I have had a key cut, but from what I can remember it takes around 3 to 4 mins. It took Seb 4 DAYS to get a replacement key to us. His advice to us about not being able to access the door to the apartment block was, 'just leave the door open when you go out'. We still hadn't got in at this point, but this didn't seem to concern him. This is the main access door to the apartment block, and as you can imagine, everyone shuts the door as they leave and locks it. We were away for my birthday and had made plans to go out in the evenings for meals and drinks. Sadly we had to cancel these plans because we couldn't be sure of being able to get back in the property if we arrived back late. We were told on day 2 that the maintenance guy would drop the key off to us so that a guy called Ryan could collect the key and get one cut. Obviously the maintenance guy wasn't qualified enough to pop to his local supermarket to get one cut himself, he had to get the main man Ryan to come and do it. Needless to say, the maintenance guy and Ryan NEVER turned up with the key!. Eventually a key arrived on day 4 of a 6 day stay. I contacted Seb to ask for a partial refund for the stress and inconvenience. His reply was NO, but we could have a 20% on our next stay!!!!. As you can probably guess, there isn't going to be a NEXT stay.
