Vacation's ruined. Wasted time, wasted nerves, wasted money.
We really liked the location of the property. The house was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The interior design was thoughtfully planned with great attention to detail. Overall, we felt very comfortable inside the home.
Our experience began with problems immediately after payment was charged. I did not receive the property address despite requesting it. I had to find the managers’ phone number myself and call them. During the call, I was told that because I had booked “last minute,” they might not have enough time to prepare the house. However, the reservation was made around 12:00 PM that day, which I do not consider unreasonable.
We arrived at approximately 4:30 PM and found the entrance completely blocked by large snowdrifts. I was traveling with my wife and our two small children. We had to struggle through deep snow just to enter the house. After getting my family inside, I began clearing the snow myself so I could unload our belongings. While I was nearly finished, a worker arrived and completed the entrance area.
However, the path to the SPA area and the grill area was also completely blocked by snow. I contacted the managers again requesting that access be cleared, as I had planned to grill for my family upon arrival. I received no response. I asked the worker to clear the grill area, but he refused and told me to contact management.
Later that evening, around 6:00 PM, I attempted to fill the bathtub. The hot water ran out before the tub was even half full. We were unable to properly wash, and my children had to go to bed without hot water. The next morning at 9:00 AM, the same maintenance worker came to address the issue. After he left, the situation remained unchanged — the bathtub still could not be filled halfway with hot water. Management told us this was “normal” and that we needed to wait about two hours for the tank to reheat. This was not an acceptable solution.
Closer to midday, I cleared the path to the grill myself. When I reached it, I discovered the grill was dirty, covered in grease and burnt residue, with old food left inside. I reported this issue but received no response. The SPA area remained completely buried in snow and unusable throughout our stay.
