SCAMMERSSSSS!! FRAUD!! DO NOT BOOK

SCAMMERS SCAMMERS!!!!!! They do not refund your deposit , they lied and make excuses!!! It’s been over a month and now they don’t reply anymore !! When I said I will report them they said I left nitrous oxide which ITS NOT TRUE!! They kept forcing me to leave them a good review and I said I want my deposit first but they kept forcing me !

Poor communication and unorganised deposit procedures.

Fair accommodation for the price.

TLDR: Deposit paid by bank transfer has still not been returned after 7 weeks, with no reason or evidence provided for withholding it. Property managers have been largely unresponsive. I’ve been chasing the return of a deposit I was asked to pay by bank transfer for the past 7 weeks. I was told that the full deposit would be returned, and the property even made a small test payment to validate the bank details. However, the actual deposit was never returned. Despite repeated contact, I have not been given any reason for withholding the deposit, nor have I been provided with an invoice or breakdown of any charges. I have repeatedly been told that the deposit would be returned, with various explanations given for the delays, but I am still waiting. I would therefore recommend being particularly cautious about paying a deposit by bank transfer. If there is a dispute or the property simply fails to return the money, you have considerably fewer options for recovering it than you would with a card payment. I have also been disappointed by the communication from the property managers. They contact guests through multiple platforms, but appear not to communicate effectively with each other or maintain a centralised record of issues. I have had to explain the same situation to three different people and, despite this, have still not received a resolution. If the property managers are reading this: please respond to my outstanding communications and either return the deposit or provide an invoice and a clear breakdown of any charges being deducted.

DO NOT BOOK. THIS IS A SCAM PROPERTY.

Total scum. Messaged them 4 days prior to arriving as they advertised as pet friendly. Didn’t answer until 3 hours before checkin and demanded £30 pet fee and £100 deposit. Refused to accept two dogs. Refused to take the call. Lied he was abroad and then accused my wife of being rude despite her being factual. Absolute dregs. Scammers.

The owners are scammers. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.

We really liked the cottage & area, very relaxing. Good central location for where we needed to be.

The fact that it was £30 a night for my small non shedding toy poodle who also was not allowed to go on the garden, I was only informed of this the night before & the extra charges. If I had been told of this at the time of booking or the week before I could have cancelled. Shame because it took the shine of a lovely stay really.
