Unpleasant experience/ to avoid/ scam

Nothing-a lot of humidity and moldy walls

I recently stayed at this apartment in val thorens and unfortunately, I had a very negative experience regarding the refund of Euro 500 deposit. After my stay, I requested the refund, but my requests went unanswered for weeks. Only when I threatened to escalate the issue through Booking.com did I receive a response, claiming the deposit was withheld due to alleged bad conditions in the apartment. This was not true or may have been caused by other people staying after us. As a loyal customer of Booking.com for years, I've never encountered such a scam before. I felt misled and frustrated by the lack of communication and support from both the accommodation (they kept the deposit without informing and did not answer for weeks to our claim for refund) and Booking.com I highly recommend exercising caution when booking here, as my experience has been very disappointing. I hope this review helps others avoid similar issues. Super appartement mais attention au bruit

Appartement très bien agencé avec de grands placards, une salle de bain et des toilettes séparées récentes. Tout était propre à notre arrivée. L'appartement est un peu vieillot, mais ce n'est pas dérangeant. Les commerces et location de skis sont au pied de l'immeuble, ce qui est très pratique. Les pistes ne sont pas très loin (ce n'est pas skis aux pieds). Le gros point négatif est l'emplacement de l'appartement dans la rue des bars. Beaucoup d'animation le soir dans la rue (il faisait très beau la semaine où nous étions à Val Tho), et dans la résidence qui accueille beaucoup de jeunes étudiants. Nous avons eu du mal à dormir, même avec des boules quies.
