The best Hostel in cat ba, by far. Nice and comfy Rooms, very good food, exeptiobal Staff who speaks good english, a step away from the Beach, scooter rental, nice pool and so on...Its 10-15min from the city but in my opinion thats something positive. You can get scooters, hop on a bus or call a taxi to all places on the island. For the tours the pickup at the hotel is included. Shops are by foot 5min and by scooter 1min away. There is even another Restaurant right beside the Hostel, but we definitly prefered the Beach Camp Restaurant.
We even had dinner with all the guests and staff on one big table with exceptional food from the chefs. We planned to stay for 2 nights but had to extend because we felt so relaxed and almost at home there. To calm down while traveling thats the place to go.

I liked the location. It was a bit away from the city. It was good place to come down a little bit.
The staff were really nice. They always asked is everything good and helpful.
Also the whole accommodation was beautiful. I liked the pool and flora around/inside the accommodation.
And it's also not so far away form a small village where you can get some food.

La possibilité de louer de scooter vraiment facilement, nous avons pu aller nous immerger dans la culture locale en ville.

The vibe is hippie, which I imagined to be cool, chill....the staff was extremely friendly, the room was fine, the bed was good, but the presence of a large company of Asian tourists kinda detracted from the relaxed vibe.
The beach was really disappointing....you have to cross a busy road, and it´s not clean. I found this to be true in many spots on Cat Ba. I hope they find a way to clean up all the garbage, it´s especially annoying in the water.
