It was lovely, quiet, and quite spacious

It was exactly what I was looking for.

This holiday park is amazing! Staff was very helpful and kind. I stayed in a chalet and really enjoyed my stay. The kitchen was very well equipped and the chalet was very cosy! The area is VERY quiet which I liked.

The only downside was the sofa in the chalet - it was very dirty (I understand that this happens due to high amount of guests but it should be cleaned regularly)

We stayed at Solway for a weekend getaway and we were blown away by the caravan we stayed in! We stayed in a Gold, 2 Bedroom, pet friendly (BU002), highly recommend asking for this one! It was spacious, spotlessly clean and placed perfectly on the park. I am always abit warey when booking per friendly places as i cannot stand the smell of wet dog however you would never believe a dog had been in there previously. Wen we arrived the heating was on, it was cosy and smelt amazing. The park itself has lots of amentities including a shop/restaurant/pool and fish and chip shop and the staff couldn't do enough to help! It was perfect for a peaceful weekend away from the hussle and bussle of day to day life!

Local amentities around the park are few and far between with attractions/shopping etc being a 20/30 minutes drive at least. However this didn't bother us but may be worth considering if travelling with family or going for a longer period.

I like the location and space in the chalet.

We checked in late and nobody told us what entertainment is on site. They are advertising that there are some. But as everywhere it is October so we were expecting that some won't be happening. However we didn't receive any info just a map about the site and where our accommodation is. Not all places have a car park next to it. The swimming pool was closed. But this i knew before coming because i messaged them and after answering, two days later i got an official email that is closed. So i wonder if I would not ask myself if they would inform me me. The cafe/restaurant was awful. We were choosing to go on site to eat or in town which is not far. We went on site. The menu was smaller and different than what I saw online. It was important what is on the menu when you have kids who are not eating everything. However the food was cold and undercooked. Now the chalet we stayed at. It had a lot of space but everything needed to be upgraded. Water in the bathroom is leaking over the tap, you can see marks on radiators from rust. Very strong smell of pets. I know I chose accommodation which allows pets because i wanted a hot tube with. But it had a really strong smell inside. So really consider before booking . They do have no pets accommodations.
