Keyless entry on all three exterior doors. Codes are changed for each reservation.
The Neighborhood:
Serene Haus is centrally located to most anything at Beech - 3 minutes to Beech Mtn Resort and the Beech Mountain Brewing Company Taproom & Pub.
There are 27 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails to explore the mountain for all ages and ability levels. There is even trail access through the backyard. We’ve got a map for you at the house!
In the summer and fall, enjoy the cooler mountain temps as well as mountain biking, summer rafting, outdoor roller-skating, fishing, hiking, mountain disc golf and, of course, the brewery. Take a scenic chair lift to 5506' Sky Bar for Mile High Yoga or lunch at the top of the mountain. When the Land of Oz is open in September, the shuttle will take you right to the entrance of Oz.
Getting Around:
The Upper Pond Trail extension can be accessed through the backyard. To the left is a waterfall trail and the right leads to the Overlook Parkway view as well as Mi Jalisco Mexican Grill.
Other Things to Note:
Please do not leave trash outside at any time. Use the Bear Bin by the mailbox. Bears will not hesitate to pursue food left outside or even in your vehicle. Trust us! 🐻
We are members of the Beech Mountain Club. Transfer of our Social BMC membership for amenity use is available for a fee and conducted through BMC directly. Membership amenities include a heated outdoor pool (open seasonally), playground, fitness room/gym with classes daily. As well as an exclusive members only Ski Lodge at Beech Mtn Resort during winter months.

• Guests are responsible for damages; we’re happy to help with lost items.

Our family of four (two teenagers) and dog had the most wonderful trip! The home was in fantastic condition. It is updated, clean (spotless), had everything you could need, and felt comfy and cozy! The sheets and towels were soft and didn’t feel like the typical sheets and towels you find at home rentals. We were lucky enough to be there during a large snow storm so it felt like we were in a movie scene. The views were gorgeous (my daughter stayed in the loft and loved it). The owners responded quickly (within minutes) and helped us navigate not only the storm but also getting around since it was our first time in the area. We were snowed in one day and had taken the owners advice by stopping at Food Lion at stocking up on food. We had a fabulous time sledding (sleds provided), playing games, and just hanging out at the house. The large living room made the perfect scene to watch the snow fall and get in some quality family time. The owners kept us updated on road conditions as well which helped us to navigate the winter storm. Getting to the ski resort was quick and easy… when there was no traffic it was a quick 3 min. drive. We used the hot tub one chilly night as well. It was easy to use and brand new. I highly recommend this home and we can’t wait to come back! Thank you for making our first family ski trip amazing!
