Hummingbird Haven is an absolutely beautiful place!! Steps to dock are very wellMaintained. Communication with host was easy and check in/out was seamless. Highly recommend.

Wonderful vacation property! Location was great and it was easy to get to. Plenty of room for our large family.

We visited Lake of Egypt for a family reunion and had a wonderful stay at Hummingbird Haven. The beautiful house surpassed our expectations, especially for the price! The rooms and common spaces were very spacious and the house had all the amenities we needed. We had young children in our group and felt safe with them being out with us on the upper deck because of the gates that enclosed the area. We spent lots of time outside on the shaded deck enjoying the gorgeous lake view. The kitchen had all of the cooking items we needed, and the large laundry room with a huge, new washer and dryer were handy to have. The second fridge/freezer in the basement was also very helpful to have. Two things I would note for families looking to use the lake is that it is a long, steep walk down to the dock. There is a well-maintained stone stairway to get down there but it is a long way down. Also, the water is deep by the dock, too deep for an adult to touch the bottom, so be sure to bring floaties if you plan to swim.Communication from the owner was great. Very clear arrival and check-in/check-out instructions. Erica was quick to answer questions that I messaged her about. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend Hummingbird Haven for your next group vacation!

Great communication helped us out when we needed.
