The bed was sooo comfy 😍 and the location was fantastic, less than a minute walk to metro which was direct to kyoto station (ideal for the Fushimi Inari Shrine and Samurai and Ninja Museum).
It was also close to local food restaurants and Western foods like McDonalds and a cheeky family mart. The rooms were well kitted out with fridge (w/ mini freezer), microwave, and kettle.
I just wish there were more bathrooms, there is only the one for the floor. There were about 5 rooms, and I did have to wait for the bathroom, but only once. Unfortunately there are no available toilets on any other floor unless your room has one.

It was really lovely here. Very close to absolutely everything you would need. Train station around the corner. Konbini across the road. Just really lovely in general. It has a lift to get your bags up, just a bit tight but it's fine. The palace is very close by. Would absolutely recommend for couples
The rules we received after getting not being able to cancel were a bit worrying about getting stains on towels or bedding. I have bright red dyed hair and although I bring a pillowcase to protect the provided pillowcase, I was concerned about receiving a fine and couldn't relax fully.

We enjoyed the location, very near to underground trains, plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. lots of tourist attractions close by or only a handful of stop by train or by bus in any direction. three stops from Kyoto main train station. woud stay here again on our own or with family.
we didn't see any staff within the building throughout our stay.
