Front office person was amazingly good and kind
Breakfast was generous, high quality and well delivered
Mildew smell in bathroom that improved with running the shower
Hotel manager by phone charged a extra conversion fee for paying in Albanian currency - so it would have been cheaper to pay in euros which i didn't have. So my trip walking across the river to find a bank machine to get albanian lek ( with a conversion fee) to acquiesce to the hotel preference for cash was not enough i guess. My guess is the hotel was quite glad to take this Albanian currency. So the bottom line is the hotel manager's policy was greedy and "pennywise but pound foolish "

The property has beautiful historic charm with wonderful traditional details inside the room. The night views of the town lit up on the hillside were absolutely stunning, and the location made it very easy to get around.

The hotel is a historical structure and has a lot of character. The staff is exceptional. Jack was excellent. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the dining area and as well had a fabulous breakfast. Thank you so much..
