Booking BEWARE and read the fine print, because you too may end up learning it the hard way and at a VERY late hour.
The space was good for our family, with 5 adults and 2 children. It had a large central kitchen and living room. It was convenient to the condo’s community pool, which was very nice for the children. We also had access to the Resort’s lazy river water park and private beach access.
When we arrived at check-in we had to wait over an hour to check in. Once we checked in we were not given either of the two pool access card keys, which we had to get delivered separately after getting into our condo. And, we had to have housekeeping come and clean the floors after arrival, because they were not the cleanest. But the BIGGEST issue, was that the “location” information for this unit was highly deceptive. It is listed as “Property Surroundings”, with a pinged location, as the unit being 160 ft from the beach. The location, as we came to learn only upon arrival, was actually 1.7 miles from the beach. We did have private beach access that could have merited this designation, but only after driving and accessing a gated resort community. The unit itself was no where near the designation of property surroundings of 160 feet. That NEEDS to be adjusted for potential future bookings. When we booked our accommodations it was to enable us to be close enough to the beach, that we could simply walk out, probably over a dune, and be on the beach. This was definitely not the case and it was VERY disappointing and misleading. Then the icing on the disappointment cake was the fact that we rented a golf cart to get us to and from the beach, only to learn that we were in an HOA that did not allow unhoused golf carts. And we were informed of this reality at 10:33 PM at night, with the warning that we had to move the golf cart off the community property that we were staying by the next morning before 7:00 AM, or it would be towed. We were informed after the fact, by the check-in staff, that we were informed of this reality at check-in, in the form that we signed to check-in.
