The apartment exceeded our expectations from the pictures online. It is modern, clean and functional. It has everything you need for a long stay. The kitchen was perfect for breakfast prep, with all the utensils you will need, full size fridge, oven, microwave and dishwasher. The living room couch was the prefect place to plop down after a long day of touring. A separate dining space came in handy for meals and planning the days ahead. The apartment has two bedrooms equipped with enough storage space. (large bed for a couple and a single bed room for another guest, which was perfect for our family). The bathroom is a good size, modern and clean with excellent water pressure and hot water if needed. A great bonus to us was a washing machine! There was a drying rack just outside and the one advantage of the extremely hot weather is that clothes dried quickly. The entire apartment is airconditioned which we needed in the brutal heat. The apartment is 6 floors up but has elevator access. While the apartment block is a massive dated-looking Soviet styled building from the outside, this apartment was perfectly renovated and modern once you step inside. The floor was very private and quiet. What made staying here easy was that the ground level contained nearly everything you needed or wanted for your stay including a grocery with cash exchange machine (which accepted large, good condition USD notes) pharmacies, restaurants and cafes. Many great food options are available just around the block. The apartment is near to two parks and Amir Temur Square and Yandex Go would pick us up and drop us off just by the apartment whenever we wanted to explore the city. Tashkent has many green spaces and trees and this area benefits from its shade and beauty. There is a police post at the end of the building, which made us feel safe. The owners were nice to accommodate our late check in and check out times.
Just additional information- ask about your payment options directly to the apartment when you book.
