Très bon séjour, au calme. La vue sur la campagne est paisible. Les repas étaient simples, copieux et familiaux. La route pour accéder au logement est bétonnée donc facile pour arriver même avec une petite voiture.
Mention spéciale à Julien qui est au service des clients, ce rôle lui va très bien. Très sympa de discuter avec lui et de l'entendre parler de Rodrigues.
Il faudrait que les rideaux soient un peu plus occultants pour éviter d'être réveillé trop tôt par le soleil.

The guesthouse offers a beautifully serene, picturesque view over the island that makes for a highly distinct visual experience. There are good walking trails around the mountain and towards the coast. It is peaceful with ruminants, bats and birds all around. Stefan is a thoroughly attentive, supportive, and communicative excellent host who ensures that checking in and managing the property logistics is entirely straightforward. Stefan took me around the island, arranged my tours all for great prices. I was very fortunate as he’s a busy entrepreneur. I went while it was quiet. The guesthouse serves as a very clean, orderly, and reliable base camp for exploring the unique landscape of Rodrigues. I recommend you visit. But only if you want the peace and quiet of the remote, rural countryside. You can hire a car or bike from Stefan too. Rooms are as per photos. Added bonus of AC. I was in room 3.
The half board arrangement failed to deliver equivalent meal values. I was able to receive fresh organs from a sheep slaughter that were going to be thrown away. Outside of that I received two pieces of lamb, eggs, pork fat, fish, crab, and 5 prawns. Not enough for five days. I was not eating breakfast, buying my own lunch and thankfully took the organs which sustained me. I eat a herder pastoral diet so the mono-gastric foods: eggs, meat and fat were causing issues towards the end of my stay. I wasn’t given much meat despite dietary requirements. If you eat an animal based diet, make your own arrangements. Buy frozen from the supermarket and store in the communal fridge as the photos are misleading. I requested a clothes rack to dry my clothes a few times, but didn’t receive it despite being told I would. Water pressure in bathroom sink not great. The shower was good but drainage slow. I rate my stay 8.75/10.

Stefan is an incredible host. This is probably the best service I have experienced on my trip around the world.
I felt very home, the surroundings are beautiful, the food is good and locally made from the farms around the area.
I will come again and I recommend everyone else to stay here

What really makes this place is the kindness of the innkeeper. This is a lovely guest house that's inland at the top of a hill. It's VERY QUIET. Breakfast and dinner are included, which is a great way to meet some of the other travelers, if you want. The meals are very good. There is some decent hiking from the guest house to the top of a nearby hill with some great views of the island.
The innkeeper can also help with getting a good deal renting a car or scooter, so don't be afraid to reach out.
If you're looking to be near a beach, this probably isn't where you want to be, but with a car you can be almost anywhere on the island in about 30 minutes.
