The location is perfect if you want to stay in Old Town. One of the beds has a newer mattress and quite comfortable. The kitchen was equipped and the AC worked well.
This apartment needs serious renovation. In the bathroom there was an extra large box leaning near the toilet with new shower doors to be installed. With two children in the apartment, it felt like the owner either needed to have the doors installed and not rent the apartment for the time being or move the large/heavy box to a safer location for storage. There are no mats for bathroom and the shower without doors is simply unsafe to use/covered in mold. Paint was bubbling up and falling off the walls in different rooms. One of the main beds was an old coil mattress. No extra sheets were found for the futon in the salon. There were ants in the kitchen.
The apartment has so much potential. I hope it is restored soon. Some of the photos in the description are AI generated. There is no L-shaped couch. It is a basic gray futon.
There are stairs immediately as you enter the building. I traveled with my elderly mother and my two young kids, one of whom uses a stroller. We had to be strategic when we wanted to come and go. I didn’t see this written anywhere prior to booking- please consider this when you reserve.
