About this villa rental
The 16th-century Villa Cà di Monte is nestled among the olive groves of the Val di Sieve. It features a charming living room with a large fireplace and numerous original pieces of furniture made of pietra serena. The kitchen is very spacious, with a striking fireplace that spans an entire wall; it is a simple room but equipped with everything needed for cooking. On the first floor, there is another, smaller living room and a suite consisting of two bedrooms and a bathroom. The utility room contains a washing machine and the necessary equipment for hanging laundry and ironing. On the first floor, spread over two different levels, are the second suite, the double bedroom, and the triple bedroom, each with its own bathroom. The furnishings are typical of an old country house and help create the romantic atmosphere that so characterizes this home.
The building is U-shaped; the villa’s apartment occupies two sides, while the third side houses another completely independent apartment. A few dozen meters away is another house owned by a different owner, which shares the same parking area.
Outdoors, guests have access to the backyard, which is also accessible from the inner courtyard, as well as the areas in front of and to the side of the building. Next to the driveway is a lawn used for parking.
Upon arriving at the villa, you'll immediately sense the magical atmosphere of a timeless place, suspended in the tranquility of the countryside. It's the ideal spot for those seeking an escape from the hectic pace of life and constant connectivity—we have neither TV nor Wi-Fi. The house is situated on a ridge, so the location is always breezy and comfortable, even on the hottest days; the north-facing area is always in the shade, thanks in part to the grove of cypress trees.
