By Indian standards, this place is truly top-tier - beautifully maintained, stylish, and very comfortable. The room had everything needed for a seamless stay: reliable hot water, AC, a ceiling fan, and an electric kettle with tea.
Cleanliness was well above average, and the team accommodated any housekeeping request immediately. Having affordable home-style meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) available on-site was a huge plus. The location is also very peaceful and convenient, especially for visiting Anandamayi Ma Ashram.
A special thank you to the host, who was exceptionally helpful throughout my stay - assisting with local mobile payments, booking rickshaws, and always making sure I felt supported.
The only downside was a health and hygiene concern. One of the staff members was visibly ill with a cold/flu but continued working around the property and in the kitchen. Even after I pointed out that it is risky for a sick staff member to handle food, he stayed on duty and only began wearing a face mask towards the end, by which time I had already fallen ill and spent a week sick. I would strongly recommend management introduce clear sick-leave or hygiene protocols when staff are unwell, as the hotel otherwise sets a very high standard.

It was in a peaceful neighbourhood and in a lovely comfortable home
would have liked a bed sheet for on top of the bed and toilet roll.

Spacious and clean room, kind owner , beautiful stairs, quiet neighborhood
There is no restaurant nearby, so if you ask the owner, they will make it for you。The room has a kettle of boiling water, coffee and tea, and water. The owner will treat you as if you were at home in a circle。
I've traveled around India and it's one of the best accommodations ever. I'd recommend it.nice house
