What a charming little place to stay! We really enjoyed our time in this lovely house, tucked away from all the hustle and bustle. It has so much character and charm, and an absolutely fantastic collection of vinyl records. A wonderful little bonus! The house comes with clear instructions, including in English, although I have to admit it took me a little while to figure everything out. Haha! Turns out I had completely overlooked the A4-sized instruction sheets sitting right in front of me. My mistake! 😄 The sleeping area was spacious and comfortable, and the shower worked perfectly. The house is located a little outside the busy town centre, which actually makes it a lovely, peaceful retreat. With a car, however, everything is just a short drive away. Communication with the host through Booking.com was smooth and easy throughout our stay. All in all, a lovely and memorable place with plenty of personality. Perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic stay away from the crowds. Thank you for having us! ❤️

The only small downside for me personally was sleeping on the traditional Japanese futon mattresses on the floor. As I'm on the heavier side, I found them a little too thin for my comfort, and my hips were practically resting on the floor, which made it difficult for me to get a good night's sleep. That said, I really want to emphasize that this is not a criticism of the accommodation itself, but simply a matter of personal comfort. I knew exactly what the sleeping arrangements were before booking, and I actually wanted to experience this traditional Japanese way of sleeping! So I certainly can't blame the property for that. Haha! 😄 I just thought it was worth mentioning for other travellers who, like me, might need a little extra cushioning. It didn't take away from the charm of the house or the lovely experience we had staying there!

the location is a bit further away from the main place of the town but it is not a problem for us since we drive here and there is a 7/11 nearby so it is still convenient

The house had many amenities available for use and instructions were clear and easy to follow. Staying in a tatami room was a unique experience for us too. The bonus was being able to use their record and CD player - my parents were able to enjoy listening to songs from their younger days. There was also a 7-11 that was a short drive away.

In order to access this place, driving is a must. Apart from that, everything was great!
