It was a such a warm and welcoming cottage, with charm and character but everything was of really good quality.
Directly opposite a lovely pub where we ate and could park our cars.
The little extras were much appreciated too.
We couldn’t fault it. It was perfect for our weekend away.

A lovely cosy cottage in a lovely area! Close drive to lots of great activities for both us and the children! Lovely bottle of Prosecco on arrival which was lovely and very much appreciated! The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed! Easy check in and check out. Host easy to contact!
The cottage has low windows at the front without locks which open fully out. This made it worrying to leave the windows open (especially in a heat wave)- not ideal with young children but this will not be an issue for most people! The cottage is also on quite a busy road that was loud at times. Would still recommend.

Great location for visiting family, spacious and well presented property.
Needs a bath mat on floor after using shower.
Cobwebs in main front bedroom on ceiling, thick layer of dust on picture frames, creaky single bed, garden at the back let down the property. Kitchen window not cleaned.

The cottage was a short walk from The Bubble Inn where we ate on the evening of our arrival.
Very good, bright, modern, clean kitchen.
Cottage was welcoming inside and the owners' instructions which we received beforehand were useful.
We booked this cottage for 2 couples because it was advertised as having 2 bathrooms. When holidaying with our friends we always choose a property with 2 bathrooms.
The description on the website is misleading. Quote as follows:
"About this property
Comfortable Accommodation: Chapel Street Cottage in Coton in the Elms offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The property features a fully equipped kitchen, private bathrooms, and a cosy living area with a fireplace."
Please note, a bathroom is a room with a bath. This property has a bathroom upstairs, and a downstairs toilet/WC.
The narrow street made unloading and loading of luggage more difficult. We were thankful we were able to park off street in the Bubble Inn car park.
