The hostel is tucked away in the countryside. It is impeccably clean and Kumiko and her husband gave us a warm welcome. Japanese breakfasts were delicious. Kumiko also very kindly did our laundry for us. We arrived with food for our first night which we heated up in a microwave but enjoyed the nearby Onsen and restaurant the next night. The place is very quiet!
The shared shower and toilet are downstairs from the room so this may not suit everyone. We took a few Google navigated narrow, back lanes to get there, this may be a little scary for those not expecting it, particularly at night!
