Our house is located right in the center of Kelchsau, an idyllic side valley of Hopfgarten im Brixental, nestled in the impressive mountain landscape of the Kitzbühel Alps. Far away from mass tourism, you can enjoy peace, nature, and genuine Alpine authenticity here—ideal for anyone who values relaxation and authenticity.
Its quiet, nature-filled location makes the Fohringer Guesthouse the perfect starting point for a relaxing yet active vacation—any time of year.
In winter, families and beginners in particular benefit from the close proximity to recreational activities: directly across from the house is a small practice slope with a magic carpet, ideal for children and first-time skiers. For cross-country skiers, the trailhead is right behind the house, so you can head straight out onto the perfectly groomed trails.
Bigger winter sports adventures await just a few minutes away: The expansive Wilder Kaiser–Brixental ski and hiking region—one of Austria’s largest and most diverse ski areas—is just a short drive away or easily accessible by ski bus.
