In Germany’s most beautiful vacation region, the range of recreational activities is virtually endless. Cycling, hiking, cross-country and alpine skiing, swimming, horseback riding, rafting, golf, fishing, and much more. Anyone who’s been here once is sure to come back.
Day trips to cities like Salzburg (45 km), Kitzbühel (50 km), Munich (100 km), or Wasserburg am Inn (35 km).
The Pope Benedict Trail also passes through here and extends as far as Marktl (45 km) and Altötting (70 km).

Sabrina Ochsendorf
A comfortable 4-star duplex apartment (bedroom on the 1st floor, accessible via stairs—no elevator) with a large living room (flat-screen TV and radio), dining area, and cozy corner sofa; the bathroom with shower and toilet is also on the first floor (renovated in 2021); the bedroom upstairs (double bed and single bed) also features a small TV mounted on the wall. The 54-square-meter apartment is suitable for 2 people (an extra bed for 1 child is available) if sharing a bedroom is acceptable; the particularly large terrace (renovated in 2022) offers a wonderful view of the mountains and is perfect for barbecues or breakfast; 1 lounge chair, 1 umbrella, a grill, and patio furniture, as well as all modern kitchen appliances (including a dishwasher, microwave, air fryer—no oven) are provided. The beautiful Reifinger Badeweiher (beach and restaurant) is just a 7-minute walk away; Lake Chiemsee is 6 km away, and the Kössen ski area is about a 25-minute drive away.
