The host is really kind and responsive when contacted. We loved the convenience of this location. There are supermarkets, salons, cafes, restaurants, and bakeries within a short walk. One cafe is so close that you can see it from the balcony. The big couch was a plus, too. Internet was strong and reliable, which was important for us since we both work remotely. It was also nice to have a balcony with a nice view of a nearby mosque. The living room has air conditioning and the bedroom with the bigger bed also has air conditioning. There was plenty of hot water consistently. The elevator is modern and always worked well.
It's not the host's fault, but there is only one place to take garbage (which is a bit of a walk) and the dumpsters are always overflowing. The apartment had almost nothing in the kitchen--one pot, one pan, a couple plates/bowls, and a few utensils and espresso cups. Because we cooked, we bought a few more items. The apartment wasn't messy upon arrival, but a deep clean between tenants would be a nice touch. For example, when I lost an earring, I had to look under the bed, and there was stuff under it (a remote, cigarette butts, a slipper, plenty of dust, etc.). The washer was a bit nasty upon arrival, so we cleaned it before using it for clothing. Still, we were here for a month and had a pleasant stay, but I like to give details since everyone has different priorities!
