An unfortunate reservation.

The room was clean and looked like in the pictures.

The communication with the host was very very bad. All the messages were in French while I was clearly speaking English, I was being polite but the host seemed actually rude and multiple times didn't even reply back. The wifi router was broken upon arrival and the sink in the bathroom had water leaking. I will give it to the host that they sent someone to fix the sink on the same day BUT I never received any update regarding the Wi-Fi and no reply back from the host from my messages. The appartment is located on the 4th floor which is hastle to go to especially with language due to no elavator.

I wouldn't stay in this appartment in the future.

The appartment is at the 4th floor of the building and it has 2 big windows, so you always have fresh air, especially in the summertime when the temperature is quite high. It is safe to leave the windows open even when you are absent and during the night, without worries that a stranger can trespass the appartment. It is also very quite, especially in the night, no traffic noise at all, and the neighbours are very polite.

We had no wifi connection at all, the wifi box was out of order. We had no hair dryer and not enough bed sheets for three adults. I informed the hosts since the first moment of our stay, they comletely ignored us, they never fixed the wifi box, they never provided for us hair dryer, nor bed sheets. Additionally, on arrival the appartment looked rydely cleaned and definitely not disinfected.

the apartment requires significant maintenance and greater attention to cleanliness

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations due to a number of maintenance and cleanliness issues. • The apartment is located on the 5th floor of the building, and there is no lift. Access is only via very narrow, steep staircases, which can be extremely challenging when carrying luggage. • The apartment had a strong and unpleasant odour throughout our stay. BATHROOM • The soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty upon arrival. In addition, the bar of soap provided had clearly been used before, with only a tiny piece remaining (see photo). • No body wash or shampoo was provided. • The shower door did not close or operate properly (see photo). • Only one medium-sized towel was supplied per guest for our entire 5-day stay (photo). It is standard for most accommodations to provide at least one bath towel and one hand towel per person, so this was disappointing. • The towels were in poor condition and did not feel fresh or properly laundered. They were unpleasant to use. LIVING-ROOM / KITCHEN • The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable because the router's antenna was broken, resulting in a very weak signal in the bedroom. • The sofa bed in the living room was in extremely poor, far beyond usable condition (see photo). • All of the forks and spoons had visible stains and appeared not to have been cleaned properly (see photo). • The TV remote control was broken and held together with a rubber band (see photo). BEDROOM • None of the power outlets in the bedroom worked, making it impossible to charge phones, power banks, or other devices. • The bedroom drawer is dirty and in far beyond usable condition (photo) • The power socket next to the window is broken, the panel isn't held (photo) Overall, the apartment requires significant maintenance and greater attention to cleanliness before it can provide a comfortable experience for guests.
